Absolutely beautiful unique little pair of female figure art nouveau style shakers. I don't know exactly what these were originally used for, although similar were found to be called ink sander/pounce pot, or tea strainer. Beautiful little pieces of history, exact age unknown. They are 4" tall, made out of a plated cast metal with a brass cup that twists open at the center. Marked Japan. In well worn condition, both pots screw open, however one is particularly more worn with some rust/oxidation. Price is for the set of two. See all photos for details and ask any questions before purchase as all sales are AS IS and FINAL.
