An amazing one of a kind textile. This antique carriage blanket is made of coarse fibers, possibly horsehair. An early example of leopard print fashion.

Has wear consistent with age of 100+ years, but no major holes, stains, rips or tears. One area of darker brown appears to be a natural variation in the color rather than a stain. Very heavy. Corners are packed with a little extra weight and fiber.
